Want Whiter Teeth?

Brush Less! Sounds crazy right? A recent study by the American Dental Association (ADA) showed many people believed you need to brush after every meal to keep your teeth white. The American Dental Association recommends you only brush twice a day. Why? When you brush your teeth after every meal or snack you are damaging the enamel on your teeth.

If you feel the need to brush your teeth, try chewing on a piece of sugar free gum. Chewing gum helps increase saliva flow, which protects teeth.

Don't wait till it's too late!

If keeping up with your dental needs has been put on the back burner, you should reconsider! In case you haven't noticed, even though the economy has been in a slump, the price of dentistry isn't getting any cheaper! If you have dental insurance or a dental plan, keep it! If you don't, now is the time to get it. It can help keep the rising cost of dental care down. It's more important than ever to have some type of coverage. An important thing to note: Dental plans are generally less expensive than insurance and tend to discount more procedures and products than traditional insurance. Insurance companies limit your benefits.  Typically, dental plans don't.  Do your homework, but get some dental coverage!

As always, keep smiling!
